NEW PRE-COURSE: Assessing Credibility of Computational Modeling and Simulation
ASME V&V40 Subcommittee is organizing a new one pre-course for the VPH Conference 2018. Developed through close collaboration between device developers, regulatory agencies, and other device industry stakeholders, the V&V 40 standard provides modelers in the medical device industry with a framework for establishing model credibility requirements. This course will provide an overview of the standard and highlight the key tenants through a few medical device examples. Potential speakers are: Tina Morrison from US FDA and Marc Horner from ANSYS. More details to be confirmed.

A new special plenary session has been scheduled for VPH Conference 2018. Thanks to the VPH Institute, this session will be programmed on Wednesday 5th at 16:30 including an overview of the coming FP9 of In-Silico Medicine, info of coming H2020 funding calls and a networking session.
TINA MORRISON FROM THE FDA IS JOINING VPH 2018
We are pleased to announce the presence of FDA for the coming VPH Conference.
Tina Morrison, Deputy Director of Division of Applied Mechanics at U.S. Food and Drugs Administration will join the conference as a keynote speaker for one of the plenary sessions at the event. More details of this session will be shared soon.
